Hello there! I grew up in a number of cities including Cleveland, Ohio; Atlanta, Georgia; Minneapolis, Minnesota; and Boca Raton, Florida. I attended Yeshiva University's Stern College for Women for my undergraduate studies. I fell in love with Jewish History and Sociology, so majoring in both was not a difficult decision. I enjoyed my college years and was involved in a variety of activities. I was a deejay on the radio station, captain of my intramural volleyball team, center of the basketball team, and held a variety of positions on the Student Council throughout my college years. I loved living in the center of Manhattan.

Since I spent so much of my childhood moving from city to city, and within those cities from school to school, my summers allowed for some stability in my friendships and education. I have spent the majority of my summers camping in Sugar Grove, Pennsylvania. Camp Stone has played a major role in my life, and led me to my career path. I spent ten years working at Camp Stone and hope to spend many more summers in the middle of nowhere.

I spent a number of years teaching Jewish History, Prayer, and being a grade advisor at Yeshiva University High School for Girls. Later on I taught Bible at Yavneh Academy in Paramus, New Jersey where I also coordinated social action programming for middle school students. I completed an M.A. in Jewish Education at Yeshiva University's Azrieli Graduate School. I am currently in my third year of the doctoral program in Education and Jewish Studies at New York University. I plan on writing my dissertation on gender roles in the Jewish summer camp setting. While studying at NYU, I have also had the opportunity to study Talmud at Drisha's Women Learning Institute and participate in special programming as a Wexner Davidson Scholar Graduate Fellow.

My husband and I are the Co-directors of the Jewish Learning Initiative on Campus (JLIC) at Harvard Hillel. We are just getting our feet wet, but we have been enjoying getting to know everybody on campus in a beautiful neighborhood and environment. My husband and I deliver sermons during prayer services, teach a variety of classes, and host students and community members in our home for meals and various programming.
