Episcopal Chaplaincy (Anglican)

The Episcopal Chaplaincy at Harvard offers worship, fellowship, spiritual reflection, education, counseling, and service in the Anglican tradition to all members of the University community. The Anglican tradition is usually known for its fusion of Catholicism and Protestantism, for the beauty of the Book of Common Prayer—and for its breadth of opinions.

On Sunday afternoons we provide food for body, mind, and spirit. Our worship services are held at 5:30 p.m. during term time, with supper and conversation afterwards. The Episcopal Chaplain, Robert Tobin, is available to meet at any time (rtobin@hds.harvard.edu or (617) 495-4340).

On the first Sunday of each month, we join the people of Christ Church for Evensong at 4 p.m., followed by the Chaplaincy Eucharist. Supper follows as usual at the Chaplaincy, Two Garden Street. All members of the University community are warmly invited to participate.
