Hillel Foundation (Jewish)
Harvard Hillel's mission is to serve as "the catalyst for Jewish life" on campus. An active Student Board and other assorted Committees implement social and cultural activities, lectures, service projects and leadership education. Hillel is host to a number of worship communities—Reform, Student Conservative, Worship and Study (Conservative), Orthodox and others. A strong sense of friendship is the hallmark of this student-run community. Dinner is served nightly (on the meal plan for undergraduates). Sabbath meals involve singing, socializing, and special concerts and speakers. For more information or to reserve a spot for dinner (undergraduates need not reserve), call Linda at Hillel (617) 495-4695.
