Islamic Society (Muslim)

The Harvard Islamic Society has been serving the Harvard community since 1955. HIS is dedicated to meeting the religious and social needs of the Muslim community at Harvard and to promoting awareness of Islam on campus.

Members of the Muslim community are invited to the basement of Canaday E where a prayer room is open for all five daily prayers. Please visit our Web site for details on how to gain access to this prayer room. The Friday congregational prayer (salat al-jumu'ah) is held in the Lowell Lecture Hall main auditorium (across from Memorial Hall) on the corner of Kirkland and Oxford Streets and begins at 1:15 p.m. every Friday.
