Lutheran Ministry at Harvard is centered at University Lutheran Church, 66 Winthrop Street (between Pinocchio's and the Malkin Athletic Center). Students from all around greater Boston are joined with a lively resident congregation for Sunday worship at 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. There are monthly Jazz Sunday evenings. Throughout the year students gather for Bible study, retreats, service projects, NELSM events and socials. Every Wednesday at 5:15 p.m. there is a student supper in the cafe. The church is home to the Phillips Brooks House-run homeless shelter which always needs volunteers. (617) 547-2841. |
